RENTAL BASICS:
- All renters must be at least 18 years of age. Parents may rent for children under 18.
- All dress and accessory rentals will be either 4 or 8 calendar days in length, beginning on the day that the dress is received by the Renter, including Saturday and Sunday. Refunds are not given for dresses returned early. Additional rental days are available upon request for an additional fee. Reservations cannot end on a Sunday.
- The rental return date will be specified on the rental instructions included with the order shipment or when the order is picked up in person.
- While we do not require a rental deposit, a Credit Card Authorization form is required to complete the rental process with Dream Dress Rentals. This information will only to be used if damage/replacement charges are required and will be returned to the Renter upon the return and approval of the rented dresses and accessories.
- Rentals are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, and your payment secures your dress for you for your rental dates. As a courtesy to our customers, we make every effort to cross-check if dresses are going to the same event, however we cannot guarantee this. Dream Dress Rentals reserves the right to refuse or cancel your order if we know that the dress has already been booked by another customer for the same event. If renting online, please tell us as much info as possible in the checkout notes about your event (date, venue, name of the event).
- Professional cleaning is included in the rental price and no additional cleaning charge will be assessed unless the dress is returned damaged or overly dirty. Do not dry clean the dress for any reason.
- Your rental items have been previously worn and may not be in pristine, like-new condition. Prior to each rental, our team conducts a thorough cleaning and inspection, making every effort to address any concerns. Nevertheless, some minimal wear and tear on the garments may be beyond our control. While we hope these imperfections won't affect your enjoyment of your rental, please be aware that Dream Dress Rentals cannot be held responsible for minor wear and tear issues associated with the items.
- Dream Dress Rentals will not sell or attempt to sell any information collected from the Renter and will keep all account and reservation information private.
PAYMENT:
All rental fees due from the Renter must be PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF RESERVATION to hold the dress for the Renter's event dates. The dresses and accessories are not considered reserved until full payment is made and if payment is not received in 24 hours of invoicing, the reservation will be cancelled, and the dresses and accessories may become unavailable. Payment may be made on the website (https://dreamdressrentals.com/), via phone or in person.
CANCELLATIONS:
Any cancellation of a dress rental or accessory reservation less than 7 days before the start date will incur forfeiture of 25% of the rental fee with 75% refunded to Renter. Shipping fees will be fully refunded.
Canceling less than one business day prior to your scheduled shipment or pickup date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the stated rental fee.
AGREEMENT CHANGES/GARMENT CHANGES:
After you place the rental order, if you want to change the item you purchased for renting, you will be charged the difference if the new item is more expensive. If the dress you are switching to is of a lesser value you will be issued a refund for the difference.
Changes must be made prior to pick up or shipping. Once the order has been picked up or shipped no changes may be made.
LATE GARMENT RETURNS:
We base our business around scheduling and late returns prevent us from getting the item ready for the next renter in time. Please return the garment in time to avoid the late return charges. Late charge of $20 per dress per day and are returns are subject to a late fee strictly enforced, no exceptions. The late return fees for accessory rentals are $5 per day. The same return shipping agreement applies to accessory rentals as dress rental.
Late charges will be charged to the Renter’s credit card on file.
Late fees for items being returned to us will only apply if the postmark date is later than the agreed-upon return date. Rest assured you won't incur any late fees because of delays caused by the carrier.
Dresses and accessories not returned after 10 days will be regarded as “lost” and charged at the full retail value/replacement cost, in addition to any rental or late fees already paid. Renters are responsible for the safety of the dress or accessory items while in their possession and agree to pay for the loss of any dress or accessory item.
SHIPPING:
Dresses and accessories received early by the Renter will incur no additional fee.
If a shipment to a Renter is delayed, Dream Dress Rentals will work with Renter to reasonably compensate for any missed time.
Renter will return/ship the dresses back to Dream Dress Rentals no later than the specified return date. Renter is responsible for the safe return of the dresses and will ship the dress with tracking confirmation to ensure return. Renter is responsible for loss/theft during return shipping and should insure the package if necessary.
DAMAGED OR LOST GARMENT FEES:
Renters are responsible for the safety of the dress or accessory items while in their possession and agree to pay for the loss of any dress or accessory item. Normal wear and tear on garments is expected and won’t incur extra charges. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will incur damage charges. Damage charges will be assessed for broken zippers, detached garment pieces, missing beads or buttons, make-up or other permanent stains or any other damage that renders the dress unrentable. It includes the cost of the supplies needed to restore the dress to its original state as well as labor costs.
Dream Dress Rentals reserves the right to determine whether damages exceed the regular wear and tear allowance.
Major damage to the dress, including irreparable tears, or irreversible marks will be assessed at the replacement value of the dress.
ALTERATIONS:
NO PERMANENT alterations may be made to the dress. Dresses may NOT be cut, dyed, painted or embellished. If a garment is returned altered or damaged, additional fees will be charged. The fees will be based on the cost to return the dress back to its original condition, including any seamstress fees to repair the alterations. If the dress cannot be returned to the original condition and the dress is deemed unrentable, the charge will be assessed at the replacement value of the dress.
GARMENT CLEANING:
Please DO NOT take the dress to the dry cleaner. We handle the dry cleaning and it's included in the cost of the rental, so simply return it back to us when you're finished with it. If the dress is damaged due to washing, you will be liable and you will be charged full retail value of the product.
RENTER ACKNOWLEMENTS:
RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT DREAM DRESS RENTALS HAS NOT AND DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE SUITABILITY OF THE DRESS(ES), ITS FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ITS CONDITION AND/OR ITS QUALITY AND RENTER ACCEPTS ALL DRESSES AS “AS IS” CONDITION. This applies to sales of dresses as well.
RENTER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE CARE AND TIMELY RETURN OF THE DRESS(ES) AND ANY ACCESSORIES IN GOOD CONDITION, AND RENTER SHALL BEAR THE ENTIRE RISK OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE DRESS(ES).
I agree to all terms set forth and that Dream Dress Rentals and agree to cover the cost of the dress rental(s), shipping, and any damages/loss/theft and/or late charges.
I agree to allow Dream Dress Rentals to charge my credit card to cover these costs and any additional fees owed to DDR.

DISCLAIMER: Dream Dress Rentals is not responsible or liable to The Renter for personal injury or death to any person, or property damage arising out of or in connection with said items owned or leased by Dream Dress Rentals. The Renter agrees to use the dress or other items specified on this agreement at the Renter’s own risk. I have read and understand the Garment Rental Policies above and agree to abide by them. I agree to pay damage/replacement charges Dream Dress Rentals (at current replacement value) if required.
