What if I receive my dress in the mail and it doesn't fit?
Always check the sizing guide to ensure that the dress fits info as possible on the dress so this doesn't happen, however, if it does let us know right away and we'll do our best to get another size or replacement dress out to you in time. If this isn't possible you may choose between store credit or a refund for the rental, as long as it is posted back to us unworn within 24 hours. Please note that we cannot refund shipping / courier fees.
Can I rent a dress for longer than 5 days?
We can usually accommodate extended bookings, subject to dress availability. Reach out to us directly to do an extended rental agreement.
Do you charge a fee for late returns?
Late fees are charged at $20 per day up to 5 days, at which time you will be charged the full retail price of the dress (in addition to your pre-paid rental fee). If you don't think you'll be able to return your dress on time you can add on an extra day for $10 at the time of booking. For dresses being mailed back, late fees will only be charged if the dress is postmarked at a later date than agreed upon, you will not be charged for any delays due to the carrier / shipping company.
What happens if the dress gets damaged during my rental?
It happens, we understand, and most issues can be fixed. However, if the dress is damaged during our rental period, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the security deposit. Normal wear items will not be assessed a fee, however, stains that require additional dry cleaning fees, rips, zipper issues, missing sequins, beads or buttons, and other repairs will incur a fee. We reserve the right to determine whether damages are due to normal wear and tear.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Debit/Credit Cards, and Cash, Personal Checks.
What does the dress deposit cover?
All rentals require a minimum $50 security deposit (prices vary depending on the style of the dress rented). The standard security deposit is to be charged with the rental fee and will be returned in the same method it was paid (either cash, credit card, or check) when the rental is returned complete (all items returned in the same condition as rented out).
Charges for damage to a dress that is s beyond normal "wear and tear" will be deducted from the deposit. Normal "wear and tear" on garments is expected and won’t incur extra charges. However, damage beyond normal "wear and tear" may incur damage charges above the security deposit. Damage charges will be assessed for broken zippers, detached dress pieces, missing beads or buttons, make-up or other permanent stains, or any other damage that renders the dress not rentable. It includes the cost of the supplies needed to restore the garment to its original state as well as labor costs. Major damage to the dress, including irreparable tears, or irreversible marks will be assessed at the replacement value of the dress. Lost dresses will be assessed with a lost garment fee of the replacement value of the dress or accessory. Dream Dress Rentals reserves the right to determine whether damages exceed the regular wear and tear allowance
Are your dresses brand new?
Yes and no. We have dresses that have never been worn as well as gently used dresses that we have carefully inspected for wear and time damage.
Do you accept donations?
Yes, we accept donations, please contact us via email, call, or text to make a dress donation.
Do I have to dry clean it before I return the dress?
Please DO NOT take the item to the dry cleaner. We handle the dry cleaning and it's included in the cost of the rental, so simply drop it back to us when you're finished with it. If the dress is damaged due to washing, you will be liable and you will be charged the full retail value of the product.
Can I try on the dress before I pay the rental fee?
Absolutely! If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you can make an appointment to try on any of the available dresses by contacting us via text at 972-814-5863 or by scheduling an appointment on the website using the "Schedule Time With Me" button at the bottom of each page.
How long is the rental period?
The rental period is 5 calendar days, from the date you pick it up (or it is delivered to you) through 5 days later. For example, if you rent a dress on Thursday, your return day will be the following Monday.
